Island Renewable Energy was established in 2009 by industry experts who have previously been instrumental in the development of 20GW of renewable energy assets over a decade and a half.
Geared specifically towards the delivery of onshore wind and solar power generation in Europe, Island Renewable Energy is headquartered in Dublin, with regional operations in Sofia and Lisbon. The Company successfully completed its first fund raising in May 2010, with the backing of savvy renewable energy investors. Island then moved quickly to secure quality assets in each of the initially targeted markets.
